My name is Norman R. Skinner.

I am an experienced and resourceful C#/Silverlight Application Developer with proven expertise in designing and developing web applications for Windows Enterprise environments. My major strengths include innovative and creative design while maintaining an intuitive layout. In the past I have demonstrated the ability to work independently and reliably meet deadlines.

I started coding BASIC on a Sinclair 2000. I then moved on to a Commodore 64 and learned Assembler so I could write video games that ran faster compared to BASIC. I joined the Navy and became a Data Systems Technician working on AN/UYK-7 computers. In the military I picked up a bit of Borland C++ before becoming a civilian again. After a series of computer technical jobs I joined Microsoft where I was allowed to improve my skills in many diverse areas of programming and databases. I am actively looking for a new company that I can utilize my skills.
